Illustration Info

This was one I just stumbled across. You can find issues of True Crime Detective online and on Ebay but there aren’t that many with this style logo. Unlike most of the stuff featured on this site, This was done in Adobe Illustrator primarily because it was before illustrating on the iPad was a thing or even existed.

I used the interior image on the table of contents to do my reproduction. On a spur of the moment a friend of mine does trivia at a local bar and she asked me about flyers, so I modified the original and used some additional internal pulp illustration to make the flyer. The whole process only took about an hour.
